Event Profile: Glass Processing Days is an independent forum dedicated to development of the global glass industry. GPD is organized bi-annually consisting of the largest and leading international glass conference, several short courses, glass product exhibition and versatile social activities.
The first GPD China event was developed and implemented in China in 1994. However, since GPD Finland was still relatively young, it was unanimously agreed by the organisers to concentrate first in developing GPD Finland instead of GPD China. By 1999, GPD Finland had evolved to successfully benchmark itself as the leading glass forum in the world and a key meeting point for glass experts. Ever since, GPD events held in Finland biannually continue to provide a trendsetting platform vital for the future development of the global glass industry!
