Event Profile: On the basis of the first one, 2007 Shanghai China International Wine Exposition will develop Chinese wine consuming market together with wine makers and dealers home and abroad, making a fine brand with creative idea, attracting the attention world wine industry, and sticking strength of wine industry domestic and abroad. By bringing new producing technology, consuming consciousness and idea for the international wine market, and providing a great platform for the cultural communication and trade exchange between Chinese and world wine industry, the Expo will play an active role in promoting wine market throughout the world.

The first Expo was highly valued and concerned by the president of OIV, who attended the opening ceremony together with the president of Rhine Wine Tasting Organization, the president of Austria Wine Association, and the General-director of German Delta International. The president of OIV also addressed the ceremony and gave complement and guidance to the Expo. Their attendance was effective in promoting the reputation of the Expo, and deciding the position of the Expo as an international one. By analyzing the experience of the past, we will further develop the market, enlarge the scale, and add the form in the hope of making 2007 Shanghai China International Wine Exposition more influential and become a well-known brand.
